Each space is set up to be either a combat or exploration encounter, which you resolve by either defeating enemies (combat) or solving a puzzle/riddle or listening to some story beat play out (exploration). I'm simplifying my explanation of things of course, but you actually move across the board one space at a time. I think making some small changes can be more impactful on what Kickstarter folks are going to do when they decide to back you. I hope you take the the criticism as that: A critique of what you put and not a personal attack on you as a person. Can you give just a bit more specifics on why this is different than a reskinned D&D game? That's not a very elegant sentence but it sounds better than, "I've been doing this on and off for 2500 days and I still haven't gotten around to a finished product until now." "I have poured my heart and soul into this game for some time now and I'm looking for help on Kickstarter." I appreciate the love and effort going into it but you'll want to dial back the actual length of time. I have no idea who you are and that made me think, "This guy sure is assumptive."Īlso, bringing up seven years worth of production for a game makes me wonder if it'll ever get done. Your opening sentence, "As you all know, I'm Ryan" immediately put me off because I don't know you're Ryan. Honest Feedback: If I'm cruising kickstarter, I'll be looking for something new and unique.
